Information for Professionals
SWALLOW welcomes enquiries and referrals from social services and health professionals on behalf of their clients.
We are inspected on a regular basis by the CSCI and Supporting People, both of whom have given the services that SWALLOW runs glowing reports. We have recently received four As and two Bs in our Supporting People review for our supported housing.
Supported Housing
We do not currently have any vacancies in our supported housing accommodation however; we are always looking into new developing projects for our members and hope that one day we will be able to offer further accommodation that is similar to the Redfield Road project. Independent Living Skills Training
At our training house, Base House, there are opportunities for people to learn the skills they need to live independently and experience life away from home. We offer nights for adults and adolescents as well as activity weekends for young people on a regular basis and nights away from home. Courses
We run a range of courses including therapeutic art, healthy fun and fitness and poetry. These courses run at our offices both during the day and in the evenings. For enquiries ring Michelle on 01761 414034.
Therapeutic Art Classes
SWALLOW run therapeutic Art Classes on a Tuesday and Thursday each week 10am - 2pm. We have limited spaces available if you are interested please call the SWALLOW Office on 01761 414034.

Work Skills Enterprise Scheme - gives people with learning disabilities the skills and experience that they need for positive work placements. Due to the success of the scheme we have places for individuals who are committed to finding work - please contact Bev on 01761 414034
