Emma Rawlings

I spent 5 years in the fast paced retail environment, for a national supermarket chain. Starting as Human Resources Manager and then moving into Store Management. Along with carrying out projects, and area implementation of new store initiatives, this also included new store openings.

From this, I then went into lecturing at a highly reputable FE & HE College and University. Teaching across all business disciplines to a range of students, including mature students. Taking the college through the accreditation process to teach qualifications offered by the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development CIPD. Programme managing several courses and tutor for groups of students, namely students with learning difficulties and students from a religious group.

I am now HR & Training Officer for a leading National Charity, ensuring that staff, trustees and volunteers have the right skills, knowledge and understanding to deliver the strategic plan.

I bring management skills, with an HR skew to SWALLOW and compliment the wealth of skills and knowledge within the trustee board.
