SWALLOW statement in response to COVID-19
We are actively addressing the ongoing threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, in line with Government advice.
We are committed to protecting the people we support during this time and have developed continuity plans to ensure the support we provide isn’t compromised, even in a pandemic.
Our Trustee Board and senior management team have regular meetings to discuss all changes in the situation and agree any new actions that we will take. Following those discussions, all staff are being provided with comprehensive briefing, which summarise the latest advice from government and other official sources.
We are continually monitoring and adapting our plans as more updates become available from the Government and Public Health England.
Ongoing Service Provision
There have been many changes in our service provision owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Below we have collated information that remains relevant to our current situation along with a copy of our current timetable of activities.
Following the start of the 2nd national lockdown on Thursday 5th November, we have been reviewing our health and safety procedures and checking government guidance and can confirm that SWALLOW will continue to run courses and groups through this lockdown.
All tables within the art room and meeting rooms are divided with Perspex screens to support social distancing.
Our Community Café in Radstock is currently closed until the 17th November when they will re-open for take-away orders only.
All social activities will remain closed until safe to re-open
