On 31 October the Government announced new national restrictions to help control the spread of the virus .
Adults (18 and over) who have Down’s syndrome are to be added to the group of people who are classed as clinically extremely vulnerable.
The decision has been agreed across all four nations of the UK by their Chief Medical Officers.
People who are in the clinically extremely vulnerable group are advised to be extra careful in protecting themselves.
